This notice explains what RentPayLo collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Last updated 3 November 2026.
Who we are
RentPayLo (rentpaylo.com) is operated by Rocksolid Ventures LLP, LLPIN ACN-7353, GSTIN 09ABLFR2485A1Z3, registered office H No. 148, Barhana-2, Kosi Kalan, Chhata, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh 281403, India. For this notice, "we" means Rocksolid Ventures LLP, which decides how your data is used (the "Data Fiduciary" under the Act).
What we collect today
RentPayLo is in early preview. Right now we only collect what you type into these forms:
- Partner sign-up (rental businesses): business name, your name, mobile number, email if you give it, city, the categories you rent out, an approximate number of units, GSTIN if you give it, and any note you add.
- PayLo Business quote requests: company name, GSTIN or Udyam number, your name, mobile number, work email, city, and what you need, from when and for how long.
With each form we record the exact consent text you agreed to and the time you agreed. We do not collect your location, contacts, or payment details through these forms. The Rent Box, Shortlist, language and city choices are saved only in your own browser and never sent to us.
Why we use it
- To contact you about what you asked for: verifying and onboarding your rental business, or getting quotes for your company.
- For quote requests, to share the request itself (what is needed, quantity, city, dates and company name) with verified rental partners so they can quote. We do not share your phone number or email with partners.
- To keep a record that you consented, as the law requires.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it is stored and who processes it
Form data is stored in a database hosted by Supabase in its Mumbai, India region. The website is served by Vercel. Both act as processors on our behalf. Access to the data is limited to the RentPayLo team.
How long we keep it
We keep partner sign-ups and quote requests for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, unless you become a partner or customer (then the terms of that relationship apply) or ask us to delete them sooner. Consent records are kept for as long as the law requires us to show them.
Your rights
You can ask us to: tell you what data we hold about you; correct or update it; delete it; or withdraw your consent at any time (withdrawing is as easy as giving it, and does not affect what was done before). You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you are unable to.
Email privacy@rentpaylo.com from the email or phone number you gave us, or tell us how to verify you. We reply within 30 days.
Complaints
Write to our grievance contact, Rajan Chauhan, at privacy@rentpaylo.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Changes
When we add accounts, payments and rentals, we will collect more (for example ID verification and delivery addresses) and we will update this notice before we do. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
